I have enjoyed millions of hands of chemin de fer. I started sneaking into the gambling halls when I was 16. I have gambled on online 21, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short time. Given all that I have still spent a lot of money at twenty-one. The gambling dens have made it very hard to defeat the house.

I still enjoy the game and wager on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have enjoyed a type of twenty-one called "The Take it Leave it Method". You most certainly will not get flush with this method or beat the house, nonetheless you will experience a lot of fun. This method is built on the fact that chemin de fer appears to be a game of runs. When you’re hot your hot, and when you are not you are NOT!

I wager with basic strategy twenty-one. When I don’t win I bet the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand. If I do not win again I bet the table minimum on the subsequent hand again etc. Whenever I profit I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the original wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original bet. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I return the wager back down to the original amount.

I am very strict and do not back out. It gets very fun on occasion. If you succeed at a few hands in a row your wagers go up very fast. Before you realize it you are wagering $100-200per hand. I have had fantastic runs a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Wynn a few years back with $750 after 60 mins using this method! And a couple of months ago in Sin City I left a game with $1200!

You have to comprehend that you can give away a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be astonished at the runs you witness playing this way. Here is a chart of what you would wager if you kept winning at a five dollar game.

Wager $5
Take $5 paid to you, leave the initial $5 wager

Bet 5 dollar
Leave 5 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 10 dollar

Bet ten dollar
Take $10 paid to you, leave the first 10 dollar bet

Wager ten dollar
Leave $10 paid to you for a total bet of twenty dollar

Bet twenty dollar
Take 20 dollar paid to you, leave the initial 20 dollar wager

Bet twenty dollar
Leave 20 dollar paid to you for a total bet of $40

Bet forty dollar
Take 40 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first 40 dollar wager

Bet forty dollar
Leave $40 paid-out to you for a total bet of 80 dollar

Wager eighty dollar
Take eighty dollar paid-out to you, leave the first $80 bet

Wager 80 dollar
Leave $80 paid-out to you for a total wager of 160 dollar

Bet 160 dollar
Take $160 paid-out to you, leave the original $160 wager

If you departed at this moment you would be up $315 !!

It’s hard to go on a run this long, but it does happen. And when it does you mustn’t alter and drop your wager or the end result won’t be the same.
