Blackjack is a game that evokes images of a roller coaster. It is a game that begins slowly, but gradually picks up speed. As you build up your bank roll, you feel like you are on your way to the top of the coaster and then when you aren’t expecting it, the bottom falls out.
Blackjack is so incredibly like a crazy ride the similarities are astonishing. As is the case with the popular amusement ride, your black jack game will peak and things will seemingly be going great for a while before it bottoms out yet again. You definitely have to be a player that shall be able to adjust well to the ups … downs of the game mainly because the game of blackjack is packed full of them.
If you like the little coaster, one that doesn’t go too high or fast, then bet small. If you find the only way that you can enjoy the rollercoaster ride is with a fatter bet, then jump aboard for the rollercoaster ride of your life on the monster coaster. The big spender will love the view from the monster wild ride because he/she is not considering the drop as they rush hastily to the top of the game.
A win goal and a loss limit works well in blackjack, but very few players adhere to it. In black jack, if you "get on the rollercoaster" as it’s going up, that is awesome, but when the cards "go south" and the coaster starts to toss and turn, you had better bail out in a hurry.
If you do not, you might not always remember how much you enjoyed the good life while your bank roll was "up". The only thing you will remember is a lot of uncertainties, a wicked ride and your head in the stratosphere. As you are thinking on "what ifs", you won’t find it easy to recollect how "high up" you went but you will have memories of that catastrophic fall as clear as day.
