The general concept of the game is to be handed cards totaling up to twenty one. Each black jack player is handed two cards. When a blackjack player is given a nine or less and an Ace they’ve been given a soft hand. When the blackjack player is dealt no Ace cards it is known as a hard hand. As soon as the cards have been dealt all players at the table, which includes the dealer, every player is given the chance to make 1 of six decisions:
Requesting another card (Hit): When a player says hit me the dealer will give them another card, if the adding of that card causes the total greater than 21 the gambler will have lost and that is the end of the game, if the card makes the total to twenty one the player is the winner and if the value of the hand hasn’t yet reached twenty-one they’re still in the game.
Keeping the hand you’ve been given: If a player is satisfied with the cards they will hold. Once this has happened the croupier will show his/her cards and the player who has gotten twenty one or the closet to twenty one will acquire a win.
Doubling Down: A blackjack player might request to double down which increases the wager by one hundred percent they have laid. Once you’ve taken this action you can only receive one additional card. The details of doubling down are usually specified by the blackjack table or casino game rules so prior to gambling make certain you are comfortable with the casino game rules. If you are gambling at an online betting house this is normally very easy.
