I have gambled on countless of rounds of 21. I started sneaking into the gambling halls when I was 16. I have enjoyed online blackjack, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a little while. Given all that I have still spent all kinds of money at 21. The gambling halls have made it very hard to defeat the house.
I still like the game and bet on a frequent basis. Over the years I have enjoyed a type of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You will not get rich with this method or beat the house, nonetheless you will have a lot of fun. This method is built on the fact that 21 seems to be a match of runs. When you are on fire your on fire, and when you’re not you’re NOT!
I bet with basic strategy blackjack. When I do not win I wager the table minimum on the next hand. If I lose again I wager the table minimum on the successive hand again etc. Whenever I hit I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the initial wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I win again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I lower the wager back down to the original amount.
I am very disciplined and never back out. It gets extremely exciting sometimes. If you win a few hands in series your bets go up very fast. Before you realize it you are wagering $100-200/ hand. I have had awesome streaks a few times now. I departed a $5 table at the Palms a few years ago with $750 after 45 minutes using this tactic! And a couple of days ago in Atlantic City I left a game with $1200!
You need to understand that you can say good-bye to a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be amazed at the streaks you notice wagering this way. Below is a guide of what you would bet if you continue winning at a 5 dollar game.
Bet $5
Take five dollar paid-out to you, leave the original five dollar bet
Bet 5 dollar
Leave $5 paid to you for a total wager of $10
Wager ten dollar
Take ten dollar paid to you, leave the first ten dollar bet
Bet 10 dollar
Leave ten dollar paid to you for a total bet of twenty dollar
Bet 20 dollar
Take 20 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial twenty dollar wager
Bet $20
Leave twenty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $40
Bet forty dollar
Take forty dollar paid to you, leave the original $40 bet
Bet forty dollar
Leave 40 dollar paid to you for a total wager of eighty dollar
Bet $80
Take 80 dollar paid to you, leave the original 80 dollar wager
Bet eighty dollar
Leave 80 dollar paid to you for a total bet of 160 dollar
Wager 160 dollar
Take 160 dollar paid to you, leave the first 160 dollar wager
If you left at this instance you would be up 315 dollar !!
It is hard to go on a run this long, but it does happen. And when it does you mustn’t deviate and lower your wager or the end result won’t be the same.
