I have bet on millions of hands of twenty-one. I began working my way into the gambling halls when I was still underage. I have played online chemin de fer, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short time. With all that said I have still lost a lot of funds at blackjack. The gambling halls have made it basically impossible to beat the house.
I still enjoy the game and bet on a regular basis. Over the years I have gambled on a variation of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You will not get rich with this tactic or beat the house, however you will experience a lot of fun. This tactic is founded on the fact that blackjack seems to be a match of runs. When you’re hot your on fire, and when you are not you’re NOT!
I play basic strategy chemin de fer. When I lose I bet the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand. If I do not win again I bet the table minimum on the successive hand again etc. Once I profit I take the payout paid to me and I wager the original wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I lower the bet back down to the original value.
I am very disciplined and do not "chicken out". It gets very exciting on occasion. If you win a few hands in series your wagers go up very quickly. Before you realize it you are gambling $100-200per hand. I have had fantastic runs a number of times now. I left a $5 table at the Flamingo a few years back with $750 after 60 mins using this method! And a couple of months ago in Atlantic City I left a table with $1200!
You must understand that you can give up much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be astonished at the runs you notice playing this way. Here is a chart of what you would bet if you kept winning at a five dollar game.
Bet $5
Take $5 paid-out to you, leave the original five dollar wager
Bet $5
Leave $5 paid-out to you for a total bet of 10 dollar
Bet $10
Take ten dollar paid to you, leave the original ten dollar bet
Bet ten dollar
Leave 10 dollar paid to you for a total wager of 20 dollar
Wager 20 dollar
Take 20 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first $20 bet
Bet $20
Leave 20 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 40 dollar
Bet 40 dollar
Take forty dollar paid to you, leave the original forty dollar wager
Wager forty dollar
Leave $40 paid to you for a total bet of 80 dollar
Bet 80 dollar
Take 80 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial 80 dollar bet
Wager eighty dollar
Leave 80 dollar paid to you for a total wager of $160
Wager $160
Take 160 dollar paid to you, leave the original $160 bet
If you departed at this point you would be up 3 hundred and fifteen dollars !!
It is iffy to go on a streak this long, but it does happen. And when it does you mustn’t alter and drop your wager or the end result won’t be the same.
