I have played millions of rounds of blackjack. I started sneaking into the gambling halls when I was sixteen. I have enjoyed online blackjack, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short time. With all that said I have still lost an abundance of money at 21. The gambling halls have made it very hard to beat the casino.
I still like the game and gamble on a frequent basis. Over the years I have wagered on a variation of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You definitely will not get flush with this tactic or defeat the casino, nonetheless you will experience an abundance of fun. This tactic is based on the fact that 21 seems to be a match of streaks. When you’re hot your on fire, and when you are not you are NOT!
I play basic strategy 21. When I don’t win I bet the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand. If I lose again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand again etc. As soon as I win I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the original bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original bet. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I return the wager back down to the original value.
I am very disciplined and never "chicken out". It gets extremely fun on occasion. If you succeed at a few hands in sequence your bets go up very quick. Before you know it you are wagering $100-200per hand. I have had fantastic streaks a few times now. I departed a $5 table at the Wynn a few years back with $750 after 30 minutes using this method! And a few months ago in Sin City I left a table with $1200!
You must understand that you can say good-bye to much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be surprised at the streaks you witness betting this way. Below is a chart of what you would wager if you continue winning at a 5 dollar table.
Wager $5
Take 5 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial five dollar bet
Bet 5 dollar
Leave five dollar paid to you for a total wager of $10
Bet $10
Take ten dollar paid to you, leave the original ten dollar wager
Bet $10
Leave ten dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of twenty dollar
Bet $20
Take $20 paid-out to you, leave the first $20 wager
Wager twenty dollar
Leave $20 paid-out to you for a total bet of $40
Bet $40
Take $40 paid to you, leave the initial forty dollar wager
Wager $40
Leave forty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of eighty dollar
Wager $80
Take $80 paid to you, leave the original 80 dollar wager
Bet 80 dollar
Leave 80 dollar paid to you for a total wager of 160 dollar
Bet $160
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid-out to you, leave the first 160 dollar bet
If you left at this point you would be up 315 dollar !!
It is hard to go on a run this long, but it occasionally happen. And when it does you can’t deviate and lower your wager or the end result won’t be the same.
